Our philosophy of providing total customer solutions begins with our Quality Engineering and Tooling Departments. Our high customer satisfaction and low PPM ratings begin with hand-in-hand cooperation between the Quality and Engineering Departments, assuring that the standards set by our customers will be met.
Utilizing computer aided design technology our Engineering staff can take on your project at any stage of design and development, from napkin sketch to 3D math models. Our engineers have vast experience in both design and manufacturing and are involved in your project from inception to implementation.
At DAPCO, we'll respond quickly to your needs and can often provide concept drawings within 48 hours. We feature the ability to design components for very low to very high volume production and our hands-on engineers are always available to discuss your project.
Following the design stage, DAPCO has the unique ability to produce all of our own tooling, providing substantial cost savings to our customers. Our highly trained certified journeyman toolmakers will produce tools for our screw machines, molds for injection molders and fixtures for your assemblies.
We feature injection, compression, transfer, parting line and runnerless injection molds up to 24 x 36 inch base. Also available are manual and hydraulic core pulls as well as multi-cavity unscrewing molds.
Similarly, we also build our own special machines in-house in order to automate many processes, and these cost savings are passed directly to our customers. You will benefit from a one-time tooling charge and never have to worry about maintenance or replacement of your tools.
Plastics/Injection Molding
The in-house injection molding operation at DAPCO is unique and comprehensive. Our
16 Jaco molders feature a clamp range of 40 to 75 tons with a maximum shot size of
5.7 ounces. These small and efficient machines control start-up and cycle times,
machine costs and mold costs.
In order to answer customer demands for highly technical molding, DAPCO also offers insert molding for pump cylinders, shafts, electrical terminals and tubing. Our team of experienced tool makers have years of proven mold building abilities.
Along with plastic and insert molding, DAPCO's capabilities extend to injection zinc die casting, and our Die Tech Industries 250 Mini Caster offers the same economy of scale as our Jaco presses while still allowing a maximum shot size of 16 ounces.
DAPCO utilizes a variety of materials in the Injection molding department, including nylon type 66, acetel, glass filled nylon, stanyl, polyethylene and ABS in virtually any color required. We offer a one-time tooling charge that includes lifetime maintenance and replacement of all your DAPCO tools.
Once your part is finished, we then offer you a variety of finishing operations, including hot stamping, pad printing, ultrasonic welding or further assembly into production parts.
Fabricating, Assembly and Shipping Departments
DAPCO offers a number of fabricating services in a highly monitored, quality driven environment. Your parts can be drilled, milled, tapped or broached, as well as thread rolled, honed, ground, coined or de-burred.
DAPCO excels at resistance, ultrasonic and laser welding as well as induction brazing, atmosphere brazing, induction heat treating, soft soldering and annealing. Again, each part is subject to many quality processes, including first piece machine sample, in-process inspection, SPC verification and final inspection.
At DAPCO, we specialize in the handling and assembly of your intricate, labor intensive products. Our quality work force is cross trained by our dedicated management team and we feature quick change over with near zero set up time.
Our versatile assembly methods and in-house tooling and fixturing abilities allow us to remain the most flexible and affordable assembly solution. Our components are fabricated in-house and we build our own automated assembly equipment to offer you low cost and high volume assembly.

We spare no expense to assure your goods reach your plant in excellent condition. Our shipping containers are designed to make the long haul when needed and cell protection or sleeve protection is given to each part. Our experienced freight manager will shop the market for the most reasonable methods of delivering your product on time.
